You start at page 1 because you treat page order as understanding order: basics first, details later. A race handbook’s job is to collect every rule. The important bits sit in the schedule, the course map, the cutoff table, and the glossary. You treated page order as importance order.

“Sort by dependency” decides the order. If net time and gun time are both unclear, learn when each clock starts before you talk about the 15 km cutoff table. Otherwise the AI explains five words in the order it thought of them, and the later explanation smuggles the earlier unknown back in.

Five concepts are just a start list

Cross off what you can answer. Fill only what you cannot. That stops another waste: letting the AI start from the most basic definition, while you sit through what you already know.
